Come and enjoy around 24 real ales + perry and cider.

'Bonfire' is well under way; and we are all looking forward to another fabulous village event. (This year's Bonfire Day is Saturday 5th November)

ST GEORGES GAMES EVENING

At Easter the committee welcomed members to attend their now famous St. George's Day celebration on Saturday 23rd April from 7.30pm. This very popular family event allows participants to compete in knock-out competitions of some of their favourite bar games including: Bar Skittles, Crib, Shove Ha'penny, Darts and Dominoes. Experts were on hand to provide first class tuition. There were great prizes for the winners - but it's not about winning, it's taking part and having fun that matters.

As is the tradition selected Bitter & Lager were available at a special price of £2.00 per pint (for one night only and while stocks lasted). Food was available and the whole evening’s entertainment was free to members. Guests were welcomed for a small charge of £2.00 per person. It was a great evening and we look forward to next year.

SIX NATIONS - GRAND SLAM DECIDER - ENGLAND VS IRELAND

The event was a huge succes with everyone enjoying the rugby (even though England lost!). The food was marvelous and with the bar open all day the mood was extremely high.

Special thanks go to Clive, Julie and Ben for all their hard work in making the event what is was. Thank you all for attending.
